Q: What types of works/ arts will be considered for publication?

A: All creative written works (poetry, short-stories, memoirs, etc.) and visual works (sketches, paintings, digital/ mixed media, photography). We also accept short films, animation, original music, and long works of prose in our Online Exclusives section.

Q: Is there a required level of skill for a submission to be considered?

A: No prior experience or training is required; all creative works of any level of skill are welcome. Here is your chance to make your voice heard!

Q: When will we know that our work has been accepted?

A: You will typically be notified by the beginning of May 2026.

Q: Can I use AI tools in the creation of my work?

A: No, given its problematic nature in terms of the societal, political, philosophical, creative and environmental impact, any submission created with the use of AI, LLMs, machine learning, etc. will be swiftly rejected. We strongly recommend that you don't use AI to proof read your work, but this will not be grounds for automatic rejection.

Q: Can I make multiple submissions?

A: Yes, you may make multiple submissions; however, we at Arcturus will prioritize publishing a wide scope of voices.
